You may have an older device still connected. Go to your settings tab > manage devices and you will then have to delete your old Spirolink device to register and connect your new device.
Also, for troubleshooting steps; Force close the Spirolink application and turn off the device. When you open the application up again, turn the device on and try to reconnect again
